IQPC Exchange specialises in exclusive, invitation only C-Suite events with a 1:1 business meeting format. Operating across a range of sectors, from Data, Legal, Intellectual Property, Pharma & Customer Experience, we run events for our global audiences in Europe and North America.

About the Role

As Delegate Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing team of 4–6 Delegate Sales Executives. You will drive commercial performance across your portfolio, ensuring delegate targets are achieved while fostering a positive, collaborative, and high-energy sales culture. Responsibilities

  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of 4–6 Delegate Sales Executives to achieve and exceed delivery targets
  • Drive outbound delegate sales activity across IQPC’s commercial event portfolio
  • Coach and develop team members through regular 1:1s, call coaching, performance reviews, and ongoing training
  • Monitor KPIs, pipeline activity, and conversion metrics to ensure consistent team performance
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and retention of sales talent within the team
  • Work closely with marketing, production, and senior leadership teams to maximise event performance
  • Ensure best practice sales processes and value-based selling techniques are consistently applied
  • Conduct market research and maintain a strong understanding of industry trends and customer challenges
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior executives across FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 companies
  • Attend events both in the UK and internationally to support the team and strengthen client relationships
  • Deliver accurate forecasting and reporting to senior management

Qualifications

Proven experience managing or mentoring sales teams within a commercial B2B sales environment.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams
  • Excellent business acumen and the ability to quickly understand complex markets and industries
  • A target-driven mindset with a strong track record of delivering commercial results
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
  • The ability to lead by example with a hands-on and proactive approach

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in delegate sales, event sales, media sales, or consultative B2B sales is highly desirable
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Pay range and compensation package

A hybrid work environment with an office in central London (3 days in office / 2 days from home). Full leadership and sales training through in-house managers, peers, and external coaching workshops.
