The firm is a full-service law firm based in Harrogate. They are a down-to-earth, friendly firm with a total of 23 members of staff across our Leeds and Harrogate offices, and further expansion plans in 2026. The firm is a thriving and expanding law practice committed to serving individuals and businesses with an enviable client base.

We are looking for an enthusiastic conveyancer to join our reputable and growing conveyancing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an experienced conveyancing team and help build the team and our local working relationships with estate agents and mortgage brokers.

The role involves dealing with all manner of conveyancing work including:

  • Purchases
  • Sales
  • Transfer of equity
  • Remortgages (both freehold and leasehold)
  • Shared equity
  • Staircasing

You will be responsible for the file from start to finish and will have the support of a conveyancing assistant working 1-1 with you to assist with the caseload and administrative tasks using a case management system.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, confident running a full and varied caseload.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work to various deadlines.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills, able to work well under pressure.
  • Excellent IT skills; experience using case management systems is desirable (Proclaim/Redbrick/Quill or other).
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Very good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Clear understanding of confidentiality/Data Protection.
  • Ability to work in a team, whilst having the initiative to work alone.
  • Full clean driving licence (ideally).
  • Live locally.
  • Willingness to train and develop junior members of staff.
