Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive and accurate legal advice and guidance to clients
  • Represent clients in court
  • Conduct thorough legal research and analysis
  • Collaborate with clients, witnesses, experts, and other legal professionals
  • Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends

Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor
  • At least 2 years' experience of handling a varied criminal caseload
  • Experience of working to deadlines with a minimum of supervision
  • Direct contact with clients, face to face and over the phone
  • Experience of the digital CJSM system, Crown Court Digital Case System and Common Platform
  • Good knowledge of all aspects of criminal law and particular Police Station, Magistrates Court and Crown Court procedures
  • Duty Status would be preferred but not essential
