Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive and accurate legal advice and guidance to clients
- Represent clients in court
- Conduct thorough legal research and analysis
- Collaborate with clients, witnesses, experts, and other legal professionals
- Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and legal trends
Requirements
- Qualified solicitor
- At least 2 years' experience of handling a varied criminal caseload
- Experience of working to deadlines with a minimum of supervision
- Direct contact with clients, face to face and over the phone
- Experience of the digital CJSM system, Crown Court Digital Case System and Common Platform
- Good knowledge of all aspects of criminal law and particular Police Station, Magistrates Court and Crown Court procedures
- Duty Status would be preferred but not essential
