Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Commercial Property Litigation Solicitor (2+ PQE) to join a highly regarded Land and Property Dispute Resolution team, based in either Preston or Kendal.

The Opportunity

This is an excellent opportunity to join a Legal 500-recognised team known for its technical expertise and high-quality commercial advice. The team acts for a diverse client base including property developers, investment companies, commercial occupiers, business owners and individuals across England.

You will:

  • Manage your own varied caseload with appropriate supervision
  • Support senior fee earners on complex matters
  • Draft correspondence and court documentation
  • Liaise with courts, counsel and experts
  • Attend hearings and all-party meetings
  • Develop strong client relationships
  • Contribute to business development and team growth
  • Supervise junior colleagues where appropriate

The work is broad and engaging, covering landlord and tenant disputes, dilapidations, lease renewals, break clauses, forfeiture, restrictive covenants, easements, rights of light, trespass, possession claims, and contractual and professional negligence disputes.

About You

We are looking for a solicitor who:

  • Has 2+ years’ PQE with strong commercial property litigation experience
  • Can confidently manage a caseload
  • Has experience across landlord & tenant and wider real property disputes
  • Demonstrates strong organisational and communication skills
  • Is commercially aware and client-focused
  • Is open to involvement in business development initiatives
  • Can travel between Preston and Kendal when required
