The DevOps team is expected to design and build infrastructure used in production services along with assisting our development teams with new infrastructure and solutions to support our software release cycles.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop and improve our Continuous Deployment and Integration pipeline
  • Collaborate across engineering and the wider business to improve integration and release processes
  • Work closely with senior members of the team to design and implement technical solutions to support core product development and deployment
  • Develop and maintain internal engineering services like Jira, Jenkins, Perforce, Swarm, Sonatype Nexus and Azure deployment pipelines
  • Ensure current and proposed technical solutions follow the business security policy and procedures

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Knowledge in developing Python and Python-based web services including Flask framework
  • Linux knowledge and good bash scripting skills
  • Good debugging and problem-solving abilities
  • Basic Windows and Active Directory knowledge for authentication along with PowerShell
  • Some experience with administering CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Jira, Nexus and version control systems like GIT

Desirable:

  • Ansible
  • Docker
  • Azure
  • SOC - Incident response, Knowledge/Experience with a SIEM product
