About The Role
Our fintech practice develops data & software products for the financial and shipping industries which are used every day across the world by thousands of brokers, intelligence providers, investment managers and others. This role is a high profile role within our company to support a mission critical, tier 1 application for our clients which is actively used by thousands of users 16 hours a day. The platform is a cutting edge microservice architecture based on AWS which calculates and distributes financial indices. It was architected and fully developed in-house over the last 5 years and has an exciting roadmap of future enhancements and developments planned for the next few years.

Required Experience
- 2+ years of commercial experience
- STEM, or ideally Computer Science, educational background
- Experience supporting mission critical operational systems - ecommerce, financial trading, index production or equivalent
- Previous experience with modern front-end development frameworks (especially React)
- An understanding of design and UX principles
- ‘End-to-end’ experience in the SDLC, from product design to release and post-production
- Contact with the deployment process and experimented with automated processes for testing and deployment and cloud services
- Good client relationship management, communication and presentation skills
- Enjoy the “start-up” culture, be willing to get involved, learn and share knowledge with your peers
- Is a curious person that likes to understand the whole stack and architecture of software, even if you are only working directly with a small part of it.
Locations
We are recruiting on the basis of 3 staffing models for this role:
- London based - 50 / 50 office & remote based.
- Hybrid - 1 day per week travel to the London office
- Fully remote in Europe with occasional travel to London
