We are looking to hire an experienced senior web developer to head up our development team. In this role, you will be involved in the planning and implementation of new web applications as well as updating and maintaining existing applications in our software suite. As a senior web developer, you should have in-depth knowledge of programming languages, high-level managerial experience, outstanding project management skills and good communication.

Responsibilities:

  • Meeting with development managers to discuss and plan current and future projects
  • Designing and implementing new applications and new features within existing software
  • Working closely with other developers or autonomously to achieve project requirements
  • Appropriately delegating tasks to junior team members as well as performing code reviews and testing
  • Managing project timelines and tasks
  • Training staff and clients on software use
  • Run functionality testing and debug code
  • Keeping up to date with industry trends and technology developments

Requirements:

  • 7+ years industry experience as a web developer
  • 3+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails
  • Solid knowledge of HTML/CSS and JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, ReactJS and Stimulus
  • Experience with mockup and UI prototyping tools
  • Understanding and ability to implement best security practices
  • Team management skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Good time management skills
