Our client is a market leading dealership with sites throughout South Wales. They currently have positions available in NEWPORT, CARDIFF & SWANSEA for level 3 qualified technicians. They have HGV and LGV positions available.

Main Purpose of Job: Responsible for the mechanical and electrical repair, preventative maintenance and modification of vehicles.

Key Tasks:

  • Carry out preventative maintenance in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical defects on all vehicles and related ancillary equipment, replacing parts as and when necessary in line with Company and legislative requirements.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork and documentation to the required standard.
  • Provide on the job training for other Technicians/Trainees as required.
  • Continually identify possible warranty claims and elevate these to the appropriate person.

To apply for this position, candidates must be a minimum of Level 3 qualified with a minimum of 6 months relevant, recent experience.
