As a mortgage advisor, you will be helping people find and apply for the right mortgage and making sure they are fully informed about what's available. Working in a customer's best interests, it's down to you to find the best mortgage based on their situation and finances, and guide them through the whole process.
Responsibilities include:
- Dealing with estate agents, valuers, and mortgage lenders.
- Keeping up to date with the current market and laws.
- Working closely with your clients.
- Advising clients on the homebuying process.
- Explaining about repayments and mortgage protection.
- Offering a number of mortgage options primarily over the phone.
- Selling related financial products such as buildings or life insurance.
- Selling whole of market mortgages primarily over the phone.
- Attending property industry events to generate leads.
- Performing any additional duties/activities assigned by management.
Prerequisites: CeMAP or equivalent.
