We are working with a highly established multi-site manufacturing company in Northamptonshire. This is a non-food environment, so it may suit a maintenance technician with a multiskilled background from that industry who would like a change. This role requires an enthusiastic engineer to work in all aspects of maintenance, predominantly on autonomous, preventive maintenance programmes and breakdowns.

Maintenance Technician duties:
- To work in a flexible manner to achieve maximum productivity throughout the shift, liaising with the Shift Supervisor to resolve problem areas.
- Work in a team to deliver sustainable preventative maintenance and reactive and efficient breakdown service on operational equipment.
- Reactive to breakdowns as required by the shift team leader.
- To complete all tasks in accordance with the relevant work procedures.
- Communicating all relevant information to the engineering team leaders.
- Work with 6’s practices and procedures in mind.
- To ensure that the work area is maintained in a safe and clean condition.
- To work as part of a team and using your own initiative in both planned and emergency breakdown situations.
Maintenance Technician skill set required:
- Ideally you will be a multi-skilled engineer
- Production or Manufacturing experience
- Must be able to communicate in English and be able to fill out documentation.
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday (10pm-6am / 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm)
