Role:

As an Electrical Engineer you will be required to undertake an Electrical design role on high pressure pipeline and plant systems, working to high engineering standards within the budgets and timescales set by our clients. You will be enthusiastic and conscientious about the work you produce, leading by example with good attention to detail. You will have the ability to learn quickly and work methodically under your own initiative and as part of a multidisciplinary team. You will also have awareness and commitment to health, safety and environmental procedures relating to design and construction activities. Ideally, you will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working within utility, pipeline or related industries, and have good working knowledge of the applicable design codes including BS7671 - electrical wiring regulations and British Standards. You will have gained at least a 2:1 (Upper Second–Class honours) in an Electrical Engineering degree, and be registered with an appropriate institution. You also will be working towards Incorporated or Chartered Engineer status.

  • HND/Degree qualification in Electronic/Electrical engineering (Essential)
  • Minimum of 3 years in utility, pipeline or related industries
  • C&G 2396 electrical design qualifications
  • AMTECH (Desirable)
  • Autocad 2D (Desirable)
  • ATEX / DSEAR Compliance (Desirable)
  • Formal Process Safety Assessments i.e. HAZOP, HAZID, HAZCON, SWDS (Desirable)
  • Safety Integrity (BS EN 61508 / BS EN 61511) (Desirable)

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday days.

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000
