Responsibilities include:
- Overall responsibility for the management of the Mechanical Engineering & Civil Engineering departments which includes 25 staff, and contractors as and when required.
- Mechanical maintenance department management.
- Mechanical project engineering management experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Fluent in Computerised Maintenance Management Systems.
- Excellent personnel management skills.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Desired:
- A Mechanical Engineering HNC as a minimum, ideally a Mech Eng degree.
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience within an industrial manufacturing environment in a Mechanical Engineering role, with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.
- The job requires a flexible attitude to deal with multiple complex jobs simultaneously to meet the required changes in operational priorities.
Schedule: Monday-Friday 40 Hours
