We are a healthcare provider that specialises in personalised care for people with brain injuries. We are looking for additional Support Workers in the Chichester area. If you are reliable, empathetic, patient and have good communication skills we want to hear from you.

This is a Bank position for day shifts and waking nights, with flexibility to suit your needs. The day shifts are from 3:30pm to 7:30pm during term time and 11:30am to 7:30pm during the school holiday. The wake nights start at 22:30pm until 9:30am. The rate of pay ranges from £9.37 to £12.18 per hour. We also pay for your mileage (to, from and during shift).

We offer all our support workers a free enhanced DBS check, 25 days of paid annual holiday, and a pension scheme. You will have 24/7 contact with the office staff including managers and coordinators through our On-Call system, as well as regular supervisions and appraisals. We are a very receptive team with an open-door policy, and our aim is to ensure that you feel safe and happy doing your job. We will also provide you with extensive paid training, accredited Care Certificate, as well as specialist nurse led approach for clinical needs. We also offer a £250.00 joining bonus (terms and conditions apply).

You will be working as part of the team that supports a young teen who lives with his family in the area of Chichester. Due to his mobility restrictions you will be helping him with all aspects of personal care. He has epilepsy, so you will be in the property overnight to ensure his safety and attend to any of his medical needs. He is very bright although he can come across a little shy to begin with.

The right candidate must be passionate, perceptive and adaptable to make a difference in this teenager's life, to encourage his development and see him grow to his full potential. Due to his mobility restrictions, successful candidates must be able to drive. Experience with children or young adults will also be helpful for this role.
