Team Medical are recruiting a Care Coordinator to join their friendly team in Southampton. This role will be based at our Southampton Offices in Redbridge. The office hours are Monday to Friday 08:30 - 17:30, finishing at 17:00 on Fridays.
Main Duties:
- Ensuring schedules are planned ahead for the following month, filling unallocated shifts, and developing a template of shift patterns for the staff. Good IT knowledge is an advantage.
- Matching the skills of our staff with the needs of our clients.
- Liaising with external organisations, clients, and their families, having empathy and understanding their needs.
- Excellent telephone manner and communication skills are a must.
- Managing the changes of the schedules and keeping staff and clients informed.
- Devise and maintain a capacity plan to ensure consistent growth.
- Providing written reports of all complaints, accidents, and incidents in accordance with company policies.
- Understanding of full care/support worker compliance, ensuring not to work a non-compliant worker.
- To ensure daily that all shifts are allocated before leaving the office.
- Payroll/time sheet verification.
Skills and experience:
- You will have had a good grounding in Health and Social Care, ideally hold a QCF (or equivalent) Level 2 or 3.
- You will have a friendly and caring approach and the ability to relate to people from a variety of backgrounds.
- Great organisational skills.
- Excellent customer service.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Adaptable to quick change.
- Full UK driving license.

Salary: £17,000.00 - £19,000.00 depending on experience.
