We are a health provider that specialises in personalised care for people that have sustained a brain injury. We are looking for Bank Support Workers in the Wimborne area. If you are reliable, empathetic, patient and have good communication skills we want to hear from you.
This is a Bank position for day and waking night shifts running from 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am. The rate of pay ranges from £9.00 to £11.70 per hour. We also pay for any personal protection equipment you may need.
We offer all our support workers a free enhanced DBS check, 25 days of paid annual holiday, and a pension scheme. You will have 24/7 contact with the office staff including managers and coordinators through our On-Call system, as well as regular supervisions and appraisals. We are a very receptive team with an open-door policy, and our aim is to ensure that you feel safe and happy doing your job. We will also provide you with extensive paid training, accredited Care Certificate, as well as specialist nurse led approach for clinical needs.
You will be working with a gentleman who lives in the area of Wimborne. He is very independent and spends a long time in a nearby farm, so you will need to have a keen interest in animals. Your main role will be helping him with his day to day routine, as well as keeping him safe whilst out in the community.
The right candidate must be passionate and proactive to make a difference in this man's life, to encourage his development and see him grow to her full potential of independence. Due to his acquired brain injury, all successful candidates must be able to drive to assist him with transport.
