Location: Pitsmoor, Sheffield

Duration: 6-month renewable contract, project completion expected end of 2028

Project overview: Refurbishment of existing Substation. Candidates must have experience of protection & control panels and commissioning as well as holding the National Grid Competent Person certification.

Role Purpose:

  • Plan, manage and deliver site activities and support the Project team to deliver the construction works.
  • Safely and sustainably deliver the construction works to programme, cost and quality.
  • Ensure the sufficiency of people & systems to deliver the construction activity.
  • Support and develop an environment where the construction team can thrive and succeed.
  • Ensure effective management of client and stakeholders.
  • Review, monitor and improve construction performance.
  • Provide management, leadership and inspire a multi-disciplinary team to achieve a common goal.
  • Determine the most appropriate means of satisfying customer/project requirements, objectives and constraints; time, cost, quality, scope, risk and benefits.
