Our clients operate this recently refurbished Country Inn with rooms in this quaint village in North Yorkshire with rail links to Leeds, York & Harrogate and are looking to recruit an innovative, creative, and passionate Sous Chef to oversee the team of talented chefs in this refurbished kitchen. Serving a casual gastro pub style menu in a relaxed setting, you will be responsible for creating exciting new menus on a regular basis, using seasonal and local produce.
The Ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:
- Experience as a sous chef, or junior sous chef in a similar fresh food field kitchen, be it hotel, restaurant or gastro pub
- Drive and creative flair
- Understanding of menu development & costings
- Knowledge of stock control, compliance and allergens
- Self-driven and proven leadership skills
- Experience in developing and training staff
