The roles and duties of the Domiciliary Deputy Care Manager will include:

  • Overseeing day-to-day operations of the domiciliary care service, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, policies and procedures.
  • Supporting and supervising care coordinators and care staff, fostering a positive and collaborative working environment.
  • Participating in the assessment of client needs and the development and review of person-centred care plans.
  • Monitoring the quality of care delivery, ensuring that services are provided in a safe, effective, caring, responsive, and well-led manner.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for clients, families, care staff, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and coordination of services.
  • Assisting with the development and management of staff rotas to ensure adequate service coverage.
  • Aiding with audits, quality monitoring, and the implementation of improvement plans.
  • Ensuring that safeguarding policies and procedures are adhered to and that any concerns are reported and addressed appropriately.
