We are proud to have partnered with a brand new Care Home that is due to open its doors in July 2023. They are recruiting two Registered General Night Nurses who are experienced and have outstanding hospital level medical knowledge. Medical knowledge includes taking blood tests. The Care Home has a 15 bed capacity and specializes in Nursing and Dementia.
The successful candidates will be working 12 hour shifts, the hours of 8:00pm to 8:00am, 42 hours per week on a full-time, permanent contract. They are offering a salary of £18.00 per hour. The Night Nurse will likely be the most senior member of staff during the night shift and will be responsible for leading actions in the event of emergencies, as well as ensuring the safety and security of both the residents and the Care Home itself.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing advice and guidance on medical needs
- Leasing with GP Practices, hospitals and other external organisations
- Ensuring the welfare, safety and security of the residents and building
- Recording patients' medical information
- Assisting residents with mobility
- Performing routine procedures
- Creating and maintaining accurate, comprehensive healthcare records
- Monitoring the condition of residents
- Working with physicians and other health professionals
- Training and supervising Nursing Assistants and Licensed Practical Nurses
- Completing any required admin tasks
Requirements of this Role:
- Must be NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council) qualified
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Registered Nurse
