We are proud to be working on behalf of our client in Leicester who are currently recruiting for a Nursery Manager. This position is offering a competitive salary of between £26,000 - £31,000 per annum and great company benefits.
To be considered for this role, candidates must have a minimum of Level 3 in Childcare and 2+ years experience as a Deputy Nursery Manager or above. During their latest Ofsted inspection, they achieved an overall grade 'Good' and received some great feedback regarding how the staff interact with the children and the activities they provide. The management team were also mentioned to be ambitious about the level of care that is provided to the children. The setting is continually working to maintain this rating and improve it during their next inspection.
The successful candidate will play a vital role in the daily running and operations of the setting and will be responsible for:
- Staff training and development
- Recruitment
- Reviewing policies and procedures
- Being the first point of contact to all stakeholders with any enquiries
Your responsibilities as a Nursery Manager will include:
- To be responsible for all aspects of people management
- Providing staff with feedback
- To be responsible for recruitment
- Ensure staff are offered frequent and relevant training and development
- To ensure the maintenance of consistently high standards
- Develop and maintain systems which support quality standards
- Ensure the nursery runs to full capacity
- To cover ratios as and when required
Requirements of this Nursery Manager Role:
- Minimum of Level 3 in Childcare
- Minimum of 2 years previous experience as a Deputy Manager or above
- Knowledge of safeguarding
- Excellent understanding and knowledge of Ofsted standards
