Our client is currently looking to recruit a Nursery Deputy Manager to start as soon as possible. This position is a full-time permanent contract working term-time only. You will be working from 8:45am - 4:15pm Monday to Friday. This role will have a start date of between July and September 2023. You will be a room based Nursery Deputy Manager with the additional responsibility of assisting the Nursery Manager in the smooth running of the setting. You will also be required to deputise for the Nursery Manager in their absence.

To be considered for this role, candidates must hold a minimum of Level 3 in Childcare and have a minimum of 2 years experience as a Room Leader or above. All candidates that meet these requirements will be equally considered for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • To manage your room and staff based in your room
  • To be aware of all policies and procedures
  • To assist the Nursery Manager in the smooth running of the setting
  • To plan and organise activities
  • Supporting children's growth and development
  • To conduct 1-2-1's with staff in your room
  • Lead planning for the EYFS curriculum
  • Support, mentor and supervise the staff in your room
  • To deputise for the Nursery Manager in their absence
