HR / ER Generalist based in Central Hertfordshire. Salary £45-£55k. Hybrid working.
Delighted to be partnering with this leading business in their field. Based at the Head Office in Central Hertfordshire, you’ll play a key role in delivering first-class employee relations advice with a flexible, commercial and people-focused approach.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing a variety of ER casework including disciplinary, grievance, appeals, redundancy and consultations.
- Providing clear, pragmatic advice to managers that balances legislation, best practice and fairness.
- Advising on absence and wellbeing issues, including long-term sickness and capability, in collaboration with Occupational Health and insurance providers.
- Supporting complex people issues to drive the best outcomes for individuals and the business.
- Partnering with HRBPs on business-wide initiatives and capability development.
- Delivering impactful management development initiatives and sharing best practice.
What you’ll bring:
- CIPD qualified (or working towards).
- Strong HR generalist experience and excellent knowledge of employment law.
- Proven ability to assess risk and make sound decisions.
- Skilled in absence and wellbeing management.
- Confident managing a diverse workload and building stakeholder relationships.
- Experience working with unions and understanding of TUPE (desirable).
