A leading global manufacturer of variable frequency drives is looking to strengthen its engineering team with a Power Electronics Design Engineer. The business designs and develops sophisticated motor control technology used across industrial automation and energy-saving applications worldwide.
As part of the Power Stage Design team, youll be involved in the full lifecycle of electronic design from simulation and analysis through to schematic layout, testing, and validation. This is a technically hands-on role developing next-generation products that drive performance, efficiency, and reliability across a diverse range of applications.
Youll work closely with a team of experienced engineers, contributing to circuit design, PCB layout, and system integration. The position offers the chance to take ownership of design projects, apply advanced problem-solving skills, and push forward innovation in high-performance power electronics.
The ideal candidate will hold a degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and have experience in power electronics design, simulation, and testing. A good understanding of AC motor control is essential, and experience with Altium Designer, MATLAB/PSIM, or firmware development for DSP-based control would be an advantage.
