We are currently seeking an experienced Production Planner within the Aviation industry. This role is in place to ensure full compliance with the UK CAA and EASA Regulations, along with the Part 145 MOE and company procedures as part of their continued development to ensure that their stated goals of safety, quality, delivery and cost effectiveness are achieved.

Responsibilities:

  • Liaises with WAUK Part CAMO planning, with reference to upcoming scheduled maintenance, including the resources required (e.g. manpower, parts, hangar space, downtime, tools and equipment).
  • Receive the scope of work from Part CAMO, review and feedback required downtime, input and output times to Part CAMO.
  • Identify any possible specialist manpower or tooling requirements.
  • Arrange 3rd party services as required (e.g. tooling loan, fuel tank repairs, NDT, A/C cleaning, additional hangar space).
  • Raise and issue service orders for 3rd party services as required.
  • Liaises with Part CAMO and LMC/operations to ensure the planned work is still able to be performed at the planned locations (e.g. due to A/C route changes).
  • Informs 3rd party suppliers of any changes.
  • Informs logistics of any changes required.
  • Review work packages, paying particular attention to new AD/SB inspections.
  • Work with Part CAMO to ensure the correct downtime is agreed for new AD/SB inspections, and ensure the required tooling and parts are available.

Requirements:

  • Experience in working in a Part 145 environment.
  • 5 years’ experience in aviation, civil or military.
  • Completed an NVQ Level 3 (Apprenticeship) or equivalent military qualification in Aircraft Engineering.

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000
