An exciting sub-contract firm operating within the construction sector supplying original and spare parts for the largest manufacturers of stone crushers globally. Due to expansion, they’re looking to grow the team with skilled CNC Machinists in both turning and milling looking for a new challenge. CNC Machinist - Role Responsibilities:

  • Working within a precision engineering environment.
  • Your role will involve programming, setting up, and operating CNC lathes or milling machines using Fanuc controls.
  • Proficiency in utilising various manual measuring tools such as micrometres, vernier callipers, height gauges, bore micrometres, etc. is essential.
  • You will be accountable for performing self-inspection and signing off on batches of all components.
  • Familiarity with interpreting and working according to engineering drawings is necessary, and you should be comfortable working independently or collaboratively within a team.
  • Maintaining consistency across shifts by documenting and communicating your actions.
  • Continuously seeking opportunities to enhance methods, efficiency, and procedures.

CNC Machinist - Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Strong foundation in engineering principles.
  • Previous involvement in an advanced and forward-thinking manufacturing setting.
  • Collaborative and cooperative team player.
  • Intrinsic drive and motivation.

  • Punctuality and good time management skills.
  • Competence in understanding and interpreting component drawings.

Hours: 39 hours per week - 2:00PM-12:15AM (Monday-Thursday)
