Quality Engineer- Responsibilities include:
- Actively participate in management meetings and collaborate with peers in the operations team to meet quality-related key performance indicator (KPI) targets and continuous improvement (CI) goals.
- Introduce and oversee the implementation of the 5S methodology in crucial areas of the business such as the Weld room, Assembly, QC, Technical, Maintenance, and Toolroom.
- Take charge of quality concerns throughout their lifecycle, facilitating investigations to identify and eliminate the root causes of issues, managing logs of preventative and corrective actions, resolving problems, and implementing necessary changes.
- Oversee the internal audit program and assume responsibility for managing the internal auditors.
- Manage the in-house 8D program to successfully address and resolve all ongoing 8D cases.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team, identifying innovative approaches to enhance process efficiencies and ensure successful process approval on the first attempt.
Quality Engineer- Desirables include:
- Demonstrated track record in Production Quality Engineering within the manufacturing industry.
- Familiarity with working in accordance with ISO accreditation and Quality Management Systems (QMS).
- Previous experience conducting internal audits aligned with ISO 9001 or 13485, or eagerness to undergo training in this area.
- Proficiency in utilising Six Sigma tools for effective problem-solving.
- Commercial acumen
