Senior Combustion Engineer.

Our highly technical engineering client are recruiting for a Senior Combustion Engineer.

There are over 4 million mobile phone towers on the planet today and growing.

Every tower needs reliable power 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

The electricity network grid cannot always deliver this reliability especially in remote areas and this is where our client come in.

Your technical expertise and leadership qualities will be critical to the role.

We are looking for someone who can demonstrate a strong values-based approach to project leadership, with well-developed capabilities including strategic thinking, good judgement, influencing and motivating.

Combustion Engineer duties include

  • Own the combustion system roadmap to ensure we support our business objectives
  • Define the engineering requirements for the support of future product range including expanding sustainable fuel types and new technologies for higher efficiency cycles
  • Lead engineering development projects to deliver the very best solutions to the customer
  • Define and manage plans and budgets for combustion systems projects
  • Responsible for setting the technical direction of the combustion team
  • Represent the business in all aspects of combustion legislative compliance.

Requirements for this role

  • Degree or equivalent in an Engineering discipline
  • High level of experience in liquid fuel & gas combustion systems
  • Combustion design and methods competence
  • Experience in leading successful engineering programmes
