Role:
As a CAD Designer you will have a good working knowledge and experience of AutoCAD (or similar CAD packages, mainly in 2D) and working as part of a multi-disciplinary team. Your role will be to support the Electrical & Instrumentation engineering discipline through the production of high quality, single line diagrams, loop diagrams, general arrangement drawings, Hook-up drawings, cable routing drawings etc. You should be enthusiastic and conscientious about the work you produce, leading by example with good attention to detail. You will also have the ability to learn quickly and work methodically under your own initiative, as well as part of a team. Ideally you will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working within oil and gas related industries. To complement this, you will have an engineering background and recognised engineering qualifications, with an electrical/instrumentation bias, together with an awareness and commitment to health, safety and environmental procedures relating to design and construction activities.
