Job Title - Senior Security Engineer

Location - London and surrounding areas

Salary - £46,000

Overview:
We’re seeking a skilled and driven Lead Installation & Commissioning Engineer to take charge of deploying, maintaining, and optimising advanced site security and access control systems. This role combines hands-on technical delivery with leadership, mentoring, and a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead installation and commissioning of access control and CCTV systems to high technical standards.

  • Act as the technical escalation point for complex system issues and provide expert-level support.

  • Mentor and develop junior engineers and apprentices.

  • Ensure compliance with all H&S and quality assurance procedures.

  • Collaborate with project managers to deliver seamless installations and handovers.

  • Deliver user and super-user training on-site or remotely.

  • Support continuous improvement, stock management, and QA checks.

About You:

  • Proven experience installing, commissioning, and maintaining access control and CCTV systems.

  • Strong background in field-based engineering with customer-facing experience.

  • Confident leading teams and mentoring others.

  • Able to interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings.

  • Competent with Microsoft systems and general IT tools.
