We're looking for an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead installation teams, oversee project delivery and ensure the highest standards of safety, quality and compliance across a varied portfolio of electrical works. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering electrical projects across the commercial, residential, industrial and public sectors throughout the North East.
The Role
This role is ideal for a qualified electrician with strong supervisory experience who enjoys leading teams, managing site operations and delivering projects to a high standard. Working closely with Project Managers, clients and site teams, you'll ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, on time and in full compliance with current electrical regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate electricians and apprentices across multiple projects.
- Oversee electrical installations, testing, inspection and certification.
- Ensure all works comply with BS7671, health & safety legislation and industry standards.
- Plan labour, materials and site activities to meet project programmes.
- Review drawings and specifications to support successful project delivery.
- Liaise with clients, site managers, subcontractors and internal teams.
- Complete site documentation, test certificates, RAMS and handover packs.
- Maintain exceptional quality standards and identify variations or additional works.
- Promote a safe working environment and lead by example on site.
About You
You'll have:
- Fully qualified Electrician status.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- Experience supervising electrical teams or leading projects.
- Strong knowledge of testing, inspection and electrical certification.
- Experience delivering commercial and domestic electrical installations.
- Knowledge of NAPIT, NICEIC or equivalent compliance standards.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
Desirable
- 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent).
- SSSTS or SMSTS.
- IPAF and/or PASMA.
- Experience delivering projects within commercial, education, residential or industrial environments.
