We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused Security Systems Service Engineer / Technician to join a growing service team supporting customers across Dublin and the surrounding region.
This is an exciting field-based opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys fault finding, problem solving, and working across a variety of commercial environments.
You'll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a range of electronic security systems while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance and reactive service calls.
- Diagnose faults and repair Access Control, CCTV, IP CCTV, and Intruder Alarm systems.
- Complete system testing, verification, and basic commissioning where required.
- Support minor installations, upgrades, and system enhancements.
- Accurately complete service reports and technical documentation.
- Build strong relationships with customers through professional communication and high service standards.
- Escalate complex technical issues where necessary.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health & safety regulations and industry best practice.
- Participate in a rotational on-call service for emergency support when required.
What We're Looking For
- 1-3 years' experience within the electronic security industry.
* Hands-on experience with
- Access Control Systems
- CCTV / IP CCTV
- Intruder Detection Systems
- Previous experience in service, maintenance, installation, or commissioning.
- Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
- Basic understanding of IP networking.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Competent using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook).
- Full clean Irish driving licence
