The team at PIA (Part of Cavendish Munro) are currently looking for a Broker to join their professional team based out of their office in Eastbourne. This is a long term opportunity that will suit a person with existing Insurance industry knowledge and someone looking to progress within the industry by taking on wider responsibilities.
The day to day:
- Managing a book of renewals which are allocated each month, together with MTA’s and cancellations
- Dealing with New Business enquiries
- Issuing contract certain quotations to the clients, together with Policy documentation
- Collect Premiums / process premium finance transactions
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and underwriters, through telephone, email and face to face meetings if required
- Comply with company CPD & training requirements.
- Working towards personal and team targets
- Assist with training for new staff when required
- Work with the Management team / Directors on projects and any ad-hoc requirements

Your Experience:
- Must have relevant Insurance Industry Experience and be knowledgeable in either all or some of the following insurances; Professional Indemnity/Medical Malpractice, Public and Employers Liability Insurance and Directors and Officers Insurance
- A passion for client experience, we love looking after our clients and pride ourselves on our service.
- A well-developed skill set that includes strong communication, negotiation, sales and IT skills coupled with a keen eye for detail
- Have the confidence to deal with difficult situations, yet know when to seek guidance from managers
- Have good team working skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision.
