We are currently looking for a Commercial Motor Broker Support Handler to join our professional and welcoming team in Orpington. Brown and Brown offer high quality, specialist products to Personal and Commercial clients throughout the UK. We have sustained one of the highest customer satisfaction and retention rates within the industry by focusing on the precise needs of our clients.

You will be joining a busy, proactive team of brokers who specialise in Commercial Insurance. Brown and Brown Insurance focuses heavily on training and development and a full induction and training plan will be provided to successful applicants.

On a day-to-day basis you’ll be:

  • New business quoting, negotiating, broking and administration - converting new business enquiries in line with, or in excess of, company targets.
  • Renewal negotiating, broking and administration - converting renewal business in line with, or in excess of, company targets.
  • Midterm adjustments & administration.
  • Incoming and outbound call handling - new and existing clients.
  • Maintaining day to day compliance procedures for FCA regulation.
  • Effectively manage individual diary.
  • Cross selling other insurance products.

About you:

  • The successful candidate will have a desire to be part of a team within an office environment.
  • Have previous experience within administration and customer service.
  • Have a desire to be part of the insurance industry.
  • Previous experience in insurance account management or broker support would be desired but not essential.
