Responsible to: Finance Manager
Responsible for:
- Reviewing detailed transactional data and analysing to provide analysis of results against forecast and budget.
- Maintenance of reports and providing ad-hoc financial analysis.
Job Purpose: Providing support in the form of accurate and timely insightful financial information to all stakeholders. The role involves working as part of a centralised finance team to deliver monthly analysis and reporting across the business.
Principal accountabilities / responsibilities:
- Producing insightful analysis of income comparing results to forecast and budget (including divisional analysis)
- Preparing commentary to stakeholders for inclusion in management packs
- Supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Reviewing the quality of data (inputs) to ensure accuracy of reporting
- Produce regular and timely mid-month reports to track performance
- Produce detailed review and analysis of the expense base comparing results to forecast and budget (including divisional analysis)
- Support the Finance Manager with the onboarding of additional divisions
- Support the Client Money Manager with RMAR preparation and submissions
- Preparation and review of schedules for Sox reporting
- Performing month end reconciliations and providing account analysis
- Preparation of Board and Business Review Packs
- Support the production of annual budget
- Supporting the preparation of the monthly forecast
- Assist in the production of annual statutory accounts and audit
- Work closely with Finance Manager, Finance Business Partners and B&B Group Finance to support change and efficiency
- Contribution to ongoing continuous improvement of processes within the team
- To ensure accuracy, efficiency and professionalism when dealing with internal and external clients, including both colleagues and business heads
- Ensuring tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner
- Liaise and build professional relationships – both internally and externally
- Other ad hoc tasks as and when required
