- Completing retail store deliveries safely and efficiently
- Driving HGV Class 1 vehicles in line with legal and operational requirements
- Operating curtain-sided vehicles and using tail-lift equipment
- Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects or issues
- Ensuring goods are handled securely and delivered on time
- Providing professional service at delivery locations
- Completing relevant delivery and vehicle paperwork accurately Skills and qualifications
- Valid HGV Class 1 driving licence
- Relevant Driver CPC and digital tachograph qualifications
- Previous experience with retail store deliveries
- Experience using tail-lift equipment
- Experience operating curtain-sided trailers
- Strong knowledge of road safety and transport regulations
- Reliable, organised and customer-focused approach
- Good communication skills and a professional manner
