Key responsibilities
- Complete scheduled deliveries to retail stores safely and on time
- Carry out vehicle checks before and after journeys
- Load, secure and unload goods in line with safe handling procedures
- Provide professional service at delivery locations
- Complete delivery paperwork and report any issues promptly
- Follow road safety, company and customer-site procedures
Skills and qualifications
- HGV Class 2 entitlement with the appropriate driver compliance requirements
- Previous experience of retail store deliveries
- A safe, responsible and reliable approach to driving
- Good time management and route-planning skills
- Ability to handle goods safely and work to delivery schedules
- Professional communication skills when dealing with customers and site teams
