Its operations support collection and delivery activity through a network of depots, with services including groupage, parcel distribution, full and part loads, customs clearance and supply chain management.
The role
- Driving an HGV Class 2 vehicle safely and responsibly
- Completing scheduled deliveries and collections
- Operating a curtainsider vehicle
- Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
- Securing loads correctly before departure
- Completing delivery paperwork and using relevant transport documentation
- Following road safety, company and customer-site procedures
- Providing a professional service at collection and delivery points
About you
- A valid HGV Class 2 licence
- Previous experience driving curtainsider vehicles
- Good knowledge of UK roads and route planning
- A safe, responsible and professional approach to driving
- The ability to complete vehicle checks and delivery paperwork accurately
- Good communication skills and a dependable work ethic
- The relevant driver qualification requirements for the role
