This is an on-site, full-time role for a Children’s Residential Support Worker based in East Riding of Yorkshire. The role involves providing day-to-day support and care to children and young people in a residential setting, ensuring their safety, well-being, and personal development.
Responsibilities include:
- Building positive relationships
- Implementing care plans
- Following safeguarding procedures
- Assisting with daily activities and tasks to support the physical and emotional needs of each child
Qualifications:
- Experience as a Support Worker and a genuine passion for supporting children and young people
- Strong Interpersonal Skills and Communication abilities for building trust and understanding
- Knowledge of Safeguarding practices and a commitment to child safety and welfare
- Basic Technical Support proficiency to document reports and maintain relevant records
- Good problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Relevant training or certifications in childcare, health, or social care, as well as a willingness to pursue further qualifications
