We are seeking a customer-focused and results-driven Sales Associate to join our team! As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for all aspects of sales, from generating leads and providing expert product advice to closing deals and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service by assisting customers in a professional and friendly manner
- Understand each customer’s unique needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales goals
- Actively seek out and engage with customers in the store
- Maintain a well-presented store environment through ensuring stock is in good condition and displayed to company standards
- Process point of sale transactions and handle merchandise returns
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure efficient customer service delivery
- Establish and maintain strong customer relationships based on trust
- Comply with inventory control procedures and contribute to inventory management processes
- Identify opportunities to improve sales by providing suggestions for marketing activities or changes to the store design
Requirements:
- Proven work experience in retail sales, sales representative or a similar role
- Thorough understanding of customer service principles and sales practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as basic math skills
- Ability to meet and exceed sales quotas and provide excellent customer service under pressure
- Familiarity with inventory procedures and POS transactions
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and holidays
- A friendly and energetic personality with a focus on customer service
- High school diploma is required; a degree in marketing or a related field is a plus
