Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with specialists to coordinate patient care and make appropriate referrals as needed.
  • Provide culturally sensitive care to an inclusive community with patients of varying socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds.
  • Offer guidance on health management, nutrition, exercise, and lifestyle changes to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Administer routine procedures, including wound care, suturing, pain management, and vaccinations.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health systems in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Contribute to public health initiatives and community outreach programs to increase healthcare literacy and preventive care adoption.
  • Participate in continuing professional development activities to stay current with advancements in medical practices and treatments.

Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) and board certification as a General Practitioner or Specialist Doctor.
  • Valid medical license to practice in
  • Proven experience working as a General Practitioner with a strong foundation in diagnosing and treating a broad range of medical conditions.

Day-to-Day

  • Meet with patients for routine check-ups, acute care needs, or chronic disease management.
  • Review and analyze test results, prescribing medications or treatments as necessary.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients, ensuring they fully understand their medical conditions and care plans.
  • Offer vaccinations, perform minor in-office procedures, and address acute injuries.
  • Conduct follow-ups to assess the effectiveness of treatment plans and adjust as necessary.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including nurses, specialists, and administrative staff.
  • Attend team meetings to discuss challenging cases, share best practices, and align treatment protocols.
