About The Role As an Area Manager in our Deli Operations, you will lead the team to deliver work safely, on time and to the right standard. We're looking for a proven operations leader from a meat, protein, butchery or chilled food manufacturing background who can lead large production teams, drive food safety and quality standards, and deliver operational performance in a fast-paced environment. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a significant production area and play a key role in developing people, improving performance and supporting business growth. Key Responsibilities: Guide Team Leaders and colleagues so that the daily plan is delivered safely and efficiently. Maintain safety, quality and process standards and make sure they're followed consistently. Monitor performance, review data and take action where improvements are needed. Communicate openly, coach your team and support wellbeing, performance and attendance. Work closely with other departments to resolve issues, support improvements and deliver good service. Youll bring the following skills and experience: You are a resilient and credible leader with experience of coaching and developing teams in a chilled or high care food environment. Proven management experience within meat, protein, butchery, poultry, cooked meats or chilled food manufacturing. You are confident in finding solutions, thinking ahead and making clear decisions under pressure. You understand food safety requirements and HACCP Level 3 and IOSH Standards. You have a solid grasp of production processes, KPIs and operational planning in a fast paced setting You communicate. well, build strong working relationships and manage performance in a fair and consistent way.
