What You’ll Do: As a People Advisor (12 month FTC), you’ll be at the heart of our team. Your role will include:

  • Providing practical, commercially driven advice and guidance to line managers using policies and procedures to ensure fairness and consistency.
  • Supporting the delivery of the Group People plan and category People strategy.
  • Contributing to the tasks, projects and duties that contribute to the success of the People team in supporting the business and colleagues with day to day activities in all aspects of the employee lifecycle.
  • Supporting the activities of the central functions by facilitating onsite actions for resourcing, learning and development, payroll etc.
  • Managing and supporting with the delivery of casework.

What you will need: There is a right role for everyone and we want to set you up for success. For the People Advisor role we are looking for the following key skills and experience for this position:

  • CIPD Level 3 or equivalent.
  • Experience of supporting in disciplinaries and grievances and helping to resolve workplace issues before a formal process may be required.
  • Experience of advising and coaching line managers.
  • Demonstrating experience within a busy business across a broad range of people related activities.
  • Good Microsoft skills as well as previous use of an HR system or the ability to learn new systems quickly.
