Role Description

We are seeking a Production Area Manager for a full-time, on-site position located in Scunthorpe. This role involves overseeing daily production operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and adherence to quality standards. You will manage a team, monitor production schedules, optimize workflows, and identify areas for process improvement. The Production Area Manager will also ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintain equipment and facilities, and contribute to achieving production targets.

Qualifications

  • Proven leadership and team management skills, with experience in supervising and motivating production teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to oversee schedules and maintain production efficiency.
  • Knowledge of production processes, quality assurance standards, and compliance regulations.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities to address challenges and implement solutions effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with cross-functional teams and provide clear instructions.
  • Relevant experience in manufacturing or production environments, with a focus on process optimization.

Shifts, Salary and holiday entitlement

  • Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, 05.50am – 13.55pm and 13.50pm – 21.55pm rotating weekly.
  • Competitive salary.
  • 30 days holiday per year plus 3 Bank Holidays.
