About the Role

We're seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Quality Systems Engineer to join our team in Redditch. You'll play a key role in maintaining and improving our ISO 9001:2015-certified Quality Management System, supporting internal teams and driving continuous improvement across manufacturing processes.

This role is ideal for someone who is process-focused, analytical, and confident in working with both data and people to improve quality performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and support the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001:2015 standards.

  • Conduct internal audits, identify trends, and implement corrective and preventative actions.

  • Provide training in auditing practices to less experienced team members.

  • Report on internal quality KPIs such as scrap rates and delivery performance.

  • Record and manage concerns, responses, and follow-up communication with customers as needed.

  • Lead process reviews and help structure and maintain quality procedures.

  • Support root cause and 8D analysis in collaboration with the Quality Engineer.

  • Maintain and update control plans.

  • Capture process improvements and update documentation to reflect changes.

  • Work collaboratively with engineering and production teams to address quality concerns.

What We're Looking For

  • Ideally degree-educated or equivalent, with a strong interest in improving systems and processes.

  • Internal auditing experience with a good understanding of ISO 9001:2015.

  • Strong organisational and analytical skills with a hands-on approach.

  • Experience with PPAPs and Initial Sample Inspection Reports is desirable.

  • A basic understanding of manufacturing, inspection, and testing processes is an advantage.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of communicating quality issues constructively within a team environment.
