As Captain on the ATR 72-600, you’ll deliver safe, efficient journeys to and from Belfast City Airport while mentoring crew and upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer care.

What you'll do

  • Command ATR 72-600 operations in accordance with company SOPs and all regulatory requirements.
  • Lead a multi-crew flight deck, championing effective CRM, sound decision-making, and a just culture.
  • Oversee flight planning, performance, fuel, and weather considerations; manage turnarounds to support on-time performance.
  • Foster a safe, collaborative environment that reflects Emerald Airlines values with customers, crew, and airport partners.

What you'll bring

  • Minimum 2,000 hours total flight time.
  • At least 1,000 hours on large (>5,700 kg) multi-crew commercial transport aircraft.
  • Current CAA ATPL (ICAO) and current Class 1 medical.
  • Unrestricted right to live and work in the United Kingdom.
  • ATR 72-600 type rating advantageous but not required; a training qualification is also advantageous.
  • Both type-rated and non-type-rated Direct Entry Captains are welcome to apply.
