My client is a well established IT solutions organisation based in Watford, Herts who are seeking an experienced 2nd and 3rd Line Support Engineer to deal with customer issues.
Responsibilities
- To maintain a high degree of customer service for all support queries and adhere to all service management principles.
- Provide telephone, remote and email support.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network and peripheral technical issues to customer's satisfaction via remote support.
- Monitor and proactively resolve issues with remote back-up systems.
- Visit customer sites when required.
- Supporting and mentoring colleagues with any technical limitations.
- Assist with support calls on the helpdesk.
Essential experience
- Microsoft Server and Desktop operating systems (SBS/2012/2016/2019 Server/7/8/10).
- Core Microsoft infrastructure technologies and solutions (Exchange, IIS, AD, RDS).
- Backup technologies including Veeam, Cloud Connect, Acronis, Backup Exec.
- Server hardware maintenance and troubleshooting.
