With a reputation for excellence, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, our client is looking to strengthen their commercial team with a driven Account Manager. You will be responsible for managing key customer relationships, growing the client base, and driving sales forward. You will work closely with the production, technical, and logistics teams to ensure seamless service from order to delivery, supporting customers with product knowledge and tailored solutions.
Your job will be varied and will involve:
- Manage a portfolio of existing customers, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and repeat business
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in target sectors
- Prepare and deliver quotations, negotiate contracts and close sales
- Provide technical advice and product recommendations based on customer requirements
- Monitor market conditions, customer trends and competitor activities
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure customer specifications are met
- Meet and exceed sales targets and contribute to overall company growth
- Attend industry exhibitions and customer meetings
The successful person will have:
- Previous experience in sales/account management is essential
- Must be a car driver due to office location
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and highly organized
- Willingness to travel to customer sites in Europe and industry events occasionally
