Elite Touch Group Ltd are excited to be working with their well-established client, who are looking for a Paralegal to join their busy Conveyancing department, based at their Portsmouth Office.

The Role:

  • As a Paralegal in the Residential Conveyancing team, you will provide vital support to Fee Earners and contribute to the smooth running and continued growth of the department. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Compiling and sending out draft contract packs
  • Drafting documents such as AP1s and TR1s
  • Requesting property searches
  • Liaising with HM Land Registry and managing SDLT submissions
  • Chasing outstanding enquiries and communicating with clients
  • Sending requisition statements
  • Assisting with freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, and remortgages

What We’re Looking For:

  • We are seeking someone who is confident, organised, and driven, with at least 1 year of solid experience in Residential Conveyancing.
  • You will need to demonstrate:
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure
    • Familiarity with legal case management systems and online tools (e.g. SDLT submissions, Land Registry applications)
    • A client-focused mindset and a professional demeanour
    • Excellent attention to detail
    • Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team
    • Positive, proactive attitude and enthusiasm for learning
    • IT proficiency and adaptability
    • Commitment to ongoing training and personal development
