Elite Touch are excited to be working with their well established client who are now seeking a Legal Assistant to join their friendly family law team.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare correspondence and documents through dictation, word processing and be IT literate, and able to work as part of a team but also under your own initiative.
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to legal professionals, including managing calendars and scheduling appointments.
- Prepare, proofread, and format legal documents using Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Conduct audio typing for legal correspondence and documentation.
- Maintain an organised filing system for both physical and electronic documents.
- Communicate with clients and other organisations as required, ensuring professionalism at all times.
- Utilise IT systems effectively to manage information and support office operations.
- Perform general office duties such as answering telephones, managing correspondence, and maintaining office supplies.
- Administer filing which will include daily filing and the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files in accordance with the detailed procedures contained in the office manual.
- Making appointments, arrange meetings and to maintain an up-to-date diary for their (his/her) principal.
- Flexible to cover other legal secretaries around the business.
