Description

Grind is a coffee company that lives in London.

Since opening Shoreditch Grind in 2011, we've expanded across London with cafés, coffee trucks and a state-of-the-art coffee roastery.

Our cafes and coffee shops are the beating heart of Grind, they are where it all began.

We're a bustling hub in the heart of London's most iconic places, known for serving our specialty coffee and renowned bottomless brunches.

We think coffee can be a force for good.

Whether it's through creating the UK's first compostable coffee pods, our plastic-free packaging or carbon-free shipping - we're on a mission to be the world's most sustainable coffee company.

In 2023, we created our charity, the Better Coffee Foundation, to undo the damage done by the global coffee industry - in our first year, we recovered 43 million pods' worth of ocean-bound plastic.

Requirements

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate Pizza Chef de Partie to join our exclusive Shoreditch team — the only Grind location in the group that serves pizza.

As our flagship pizza site, Shoreditch offers a unique environment where quality, creativity, and pace come together to deliver an elevated dining experience built around fresh dough and seasonal ingredients.

As a Pizza CDP, you will be responsible for supporting and running the pizza section to deliver exceptional pizzas that meet our Grind standards whilst also providing support for our brunch and small plates menus.

You’ll be confident preparing dough, stretching, topping, and cooking at speed while maintaining consistency and precision.

Collaboration is key — you’ll work closely with senior chefs and the wider kitchen team to deliver smooth, high-quality services in this fast-paced, high-volume site.

To be successful in this role, you must have previous experience in a pizza-focused kitchen and a solid understanding of dough handling, production flow, and pizza cooking techniques.
